Settings up your personal webpage
1. Drop us a line - send an email to our webmaster explaining that you want to put up a web page.
2. Design - make your website. For information on how to design a web page, please search the web.
3. Download - an ftp program is necessary to transfer files to SafeLink's web server. We recommend WS FTP.
4. Upload - configure the ftp program with the following information:
Host Name: ftp.safelink.net
Host Type: automatic detect
User ID: your username
Password: your password
5. Transfer - most ftp programs show the files which are on your computer on the left side of the screen. If you click on a file and then click on the right arrow button, it should transfer that file to our server.
6. Check it out - your web page will be found at: http://www.safelink.net/username (where username is your username).
FYI - the first page of your web site should be named index.htm (so when you type in http://www.safelink.net/username it will work).
