This curved area outside the library will have a glass block installed. We are having a polar bear standing on an ice cap sandblasted into that glass block by a local artist. That's actually in the construction contract and not included in the 1% for art. This is also the place with the big orange son on the floor and a valence light area with a vaulted ceiling and carpeted bench area for kids to hang out and read.

Open Carpet Area for Reading	Inside the Library The average ceiling height in the library is about 11 feet. There is a door to an outside reading area, and there will also be an open carpet area inside the library where kids can sit and read near the glass block.
